Tasty Tuesday

Since we are celebrating Dr. Seuss this week I thought we would carry over the theme for Tasty Tuesday.  Kids will enjoy making this simple snack that looks like the hat worn by Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat!


Ingredients:
Vanilla Wafer (or Ritz cracker)
Red Gummy Lifesavers
Vanilla Frosting
Candle
Instructions:
Place the wafer cookie on a plate. Cover the cookie in vanilla frosting. Place a red gummy Lifesaver on the frosting, place another dab of frosting on the gummy Lifesaver, place another Lifesaver on the frosting. Continue making this pattern until you have  red and white striped Cat in the Hat hat. Top with a candle.
