Dry Idea Advanced Dry Review & Giveaway

It is February, right?  You might not think this is the best time to try out a new deodorant but it is 86 degrees, humid and the AC is on full blast in my part of the world.  So I decided to try this new deodorant from Dry Idea.   The new formula consists of enduring odor protection that lasts for 72 hours, Pulse Activation Wetness Protection and is formulated with Vitamin E!

Now, one thing you need to know is I hate the heat and I HATE TO SWEAT!!  And of course I live where it is HOT and HUMID 11 1/2 months of the year.    I need a deodorant/antiperspirant that will keep me dry and smelling fresh all day.  Dry-Idea was going to have to work hard to impress me.

I have tried a variety of deodorants in my life time and have only found a couple that I felt were truly effective.  I will now add Dry Idea Advanced Dry to that list.  The anti-perspirant goes on smooth and dries quickly leaving your underarms feeling silky and smooth!  Dry Idea Advanced Dry did its job- keeping you dry and  smelling your best all day. The fresh scent of this deodorant is pleasant, without being  overbearing.  Now, I did not test out the 72 hour odor protection promise.  I am just not that confident to go without putting on deodorant on everyday.  So if you give it a try let us know how it works.

In celebration of this product release Dry Idea is hosting a sweepstakes in with 1 lucky grand prize winner will receive $500 and 10 additional winners will each receive $50. Hurry and enter!

As well as the sweepstakes from Dry Idea I have 3 coupons to giveaway for Free Full Size Dry Idea Advanced Dry for our readers!  The giveway ends March 17th.  Winners will be notified by email.

Required:  Follow Kid Kapers and leave a comment.

Optional:
* Enter the Dry Idea Sweepstakes.  Leave a comment their facebook page saying Kid Kapers sent you.  Leave a comment here.
* Tell us when you need the best deodorant protection.

Be sure to enter our Dial Coconut Water Bodywash giveaway.

Disclosure:  As a Purex Insider member Dry Idea provide a free sample of Dry Idea Advance Dry Fresh brand antiperspirant and deodorant for this post.  My participation is voluntary and my opinions, as always, are my own.

MorningStar Farms Review and Recipe

Yummy! Doesn't it just look delicious?   This is the first burger I tried with my FREE sample of MorningStar Farms Spicy Black Bean Burgers.  I am not a vegetarian and don't plan on becoming one but I had heard these patties were tasty and had been wanting to try them.  I have a hard time spending money on products I am not sure I will like so when Bzz Agent asked me to participate in this campaign I was thrilled.

MorningStar Farms from Kellogg's not only provides a wide variety of meatless products they also have tons of recipes to give you inspiration on how to use them.  I love foods with a touch of heat so this recipe fit the bill for my taste buds.

Fiery Chipotle-Cheddar Patriot Burger

INGREDIENTS

1 MorningStar Farms® Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burgers

1/2 ounce blue tortilla strips

1/2 ounce red tortilla strips

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 slice cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon chipotle pepper

2 ounces ketchup

1 ounce fresh romaine

1 sourdough bun DIRECTIONS 1. Cook Morningstar Farms® Spicy Black Bean Burger patty according to directions. 2. Fry tortilla strips in oil until crisp. 3. Place black pepper on patty and top with cheese; place under broiler for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. 4. Combine chipotle pepper and ketchup; reserve. 5. Place lettuce on bottom bun, then place patty on top of lettuce and top with tortilla strips and top bun. 6. Serve with chipotle ketchup.   I added a slice of avocado and pepper jack cheese to mine. The burger was juicy, the texture was firm and overall I was impressed with my first veggie burger.    Disclosure: Recipe and picture are courtesy of MorningStar Farms. Bzz Agent provide me with a coupon for a free product but all opinions are my own.

Farm Rich Snack Review and Giveaway

We were recently asked to do a review and giveaway on Farm Rich snack and appetizers.  I was excited about this review because  with a teenage son it is always great to have  wholesome, easy to prepare snacks on hand that taste great.  Farm Rich did not disappoint.  Just place on a cookie sheet in the oven for around 15 minutes and your done.  Perfect for when my son is running between classes and work.

Mozzarella Cheese sticks are a favorite when we dine out so we wanted to give these a try first. They were everything you would expect in a traditional cheese stick.  Crunchy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside.  I served them with a marinara sauce and ranch dressing for dipping. YUMMY!!

Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks are:
- Made with 100% real mozzarella cheese
- Breaded and seasoned to perfection
- Good source of calcium and protein
- 0g trans fat per serving
- Comes in 10 oz snack pack & 52 oz value pack

Next up we tried the Mini Quesadillas.  I loved these but they were not a favorite of my sons.  He was hoping for a little more kick. These are great as they are but I topped them mine a little salsa, sour cream and green onions.
These are:
- Made with all white-meat chicken
- Southwestern blend of Cheddar and Jack
- 0g trans fat per serving
- Good source of calcium and protein
- Tortilla-style crust

I can't wait to try the Jalapeno Peppers and the mushrooms.  I will be picking these up on my next trip to Publix.  Check out all their products here.

Now, for the fun part.  Farm Rich would like to give 2 of our readers a coupon good on one Farm Rich product.

Mandatory Entry:
Follow Kid Kapers and then visit Farm Rich.  Leave a comment telling us what product you would like to try.

Additional entries (leave a comment for each one)
Like Farm Rich on Facebook and leave a comment telling them Kid Kapers sent you.

Giveaway will run through December 15, 2012. Winners will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to respond before another winner is picked.

Can't wait to try them. You can grab a money saving coupon on Farm Rich website and don't forget to join the Keep em Happy Club.

Disclosure: Farm Rich provided us with coupons to try their products but all opinions are our own.
