As a Purex Insider, Combat brand provided me with a sample of Combat Ant Killing Bait Strips to try out and review on my blog. As always the opinions expressed are my own.
In Florida there are bugs. Lots of bugs. All kinds of weird, yucky bugs. You know at some point no matter what those creepy crawlers will make there way inside your home. We have been fortunate not to have had too many problems over the years. Lately though we have had those tiny little ghost type ants. So I knew when Purex put all the call for Insiders to review these new Combat Bait Strips I had to try it.
The pack came with five self adhesive strips which I placed near exterior doors and windows. Within 12 hours I saw ants in the strip eating the bait. The next morning the ants were gone and have not returned. The baits are easy to use and last up to 30 days. The best part no wet, messy sprays. The only downside was the adhesive backing did not stick well.
During the months of April through June, Combat brand will be hosting an online sweepstakes where entrants can learn more about Combat Killing Bait Strips and become eligible to win one of three $250 Visa gift cards or one $1,000 grand prize Visa gift card. Check out and enter at www.combatbugs.com/win1000 .
The Combat Brand will be providing one Kid Kapers reader with their choice of either the Ant or Roach Killing Bait Strips. The winner must provide email address and mailing address to blog owner, which will be submitted to Combat. They will use it to contact you regarding the shipment of your prize.

ReplyDeleteThe rental we live in has a major ant problem. They have infested the walls and come out all the cracks and get into everything: the pantry, the bathroom, our bed. It drives me crazy but the landlords don't want to pay for a professional exterminator and we can't afford to move. So far we control them with sprays and traps. I'd love to try these for some of the main pathways!
I hate roaches in the house!

As far as I'm concerned any bugs are a problem. Doesn't matter to me, ants, mosquitos, spiders. I hate them all equally, lol. The biggest problem we have is with ants though.
