1/3 cup of butter, cubed
4 tart apples, cored, peeled and sliced into 1/4 slices
1/3 of chopped peanuts, walnuts or pecans
1/3 of cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Halloween sprinkles

Instructions: In a microwave safe bowl melt caramels with water, in 30 second intervals; stir until smooth.  In a large suacepan, melt marshmallows and butter. Arrange apple slices on a platter.  Drizzle with caramel. Top with marshmallow mixture.  Sprinkle with nuts, chocolate chips, and sprinkles.

Note:  This recipe can be made with a variety of toppings according to your taste.  Some other suggestions would be peanut butter, Nutella, coconut, raisins, chocolate syrup... let your taste buds decide.
